Question Do aliens go to hell?

Suppose there is a race of intelligent alien beings (perhaps humans like ourselves) living on another planet outside our solar system.

Since it`s impossible to spread the "good news" far out into the universe, these assumed alien beings have no knowledge of Earth`s ancient middle eastern mythology. These aliens have never heard of the Christians little lamb and have no idea that they need to accept this composite messiah to avoid going to hell.

1.)As of right now are these aliens going to hell even though they are totally ignorant of the "news" or are they somehow immune to a religion with a creator who owns and created everything. (I assume Christians believe God owns the entire universe so any other life forms must be included in the inventory)

2.)And what happens if we ever meet these aliens?
Do the Christians present the aliens with the salvation of the sweet and merciful king of kings and give them the choice to accept him or fry?

OR....
2a.)The Christians mistake the aliens for God and Erich Von Daniken is hailed as the man of the century for figuring it all out years ago.

OR....
2b.)The aliens, being much more intelligent than us and baffled by our foolish religions decide to review the so called "holy scriptures" and historical evidence for Jesus. They of course find it all to be utter bullshit and use their superior weapons to impose martial law on the entire planet banning all religion until we all get our heads out of our asses and see the light.

3. Aliens take over this planet by pretending to be God/gods.

An alternative is that God incarnated as an alien for them.

This was proposed last century as an alternative to damnation for aliens but I cannot remember where I read it.

Someone said something about there being no bar to God incarnating for every intelligent being and that as he was just and good, he would do so and give every intelligent being the choice of salvation or damnation.

Maybe they never had original sin. Then they wouldn't need a savior.

David, if that's the case, I think he missed a few bits!

Heleilu, I think, is right. If the aliens aren't descendants of Adam and Eve, how could they have original sin?

BTW, if the aliens are less than 40-45 light-years away, you can bet they know all about religions on Earth.

Just my spin on things.

who was the god-incarnate bonobo, or the god-incarnate killer-whale, surely they deserve to hear the 'good news'

What missed bits do you mean? Are you talking about the Borneoians of 2BC?

Also, with regard to original sin, how do you know that just Adam and Eve originally sinned? Could not every alien race have an analgous couple, or individual or threesome or whatever depending on mating?

If God's power extends through the whole universe and he likes free will, wouldn't he extend to everyone of his new creations? And does not that free will, combined with time, automatically mean that all beings will sin?

And if there was no death before sin, the first intelligent beings of all races would have had an infinite amount of time in which to sin and would thus have done so.

David, Borneo would probably be a good example(even today in some parts). Amazonia, I would think, would have whole populations who have never heard of christianity. The New Guinea highlands may also have some still.

I obviously don't know that "just Adam and Eve originally sinned". I don't think they existed. But if they did, they(along with any alien species that God may have created) seem to have been pre-destined to sin. Doesn't that cancel any free-will they may have had?

In regards to your question, they are only statistically pre-destined to sin. It is like tossing a coin - if I keep tossing it, eventually I will in all likelihood get a tail. However, there is still the possibility that I will continue to have the coin land heads every time.

Likewise, it is possible that any given first created being will never commit a sin. However, the longer that person lives and the more choices they have the more likely it is they will commit a sin at some point

Thus, it is not predestiny: it does not have to be so. The likelihood, however, is very high that the first created being will end up sinning, with all that entails.

Here's an important possible alternative scenario:

The aliens possess a mythology of their own, one more insidious than any ever devised by humans. They come to Earth under the premises of an interstellar Inquisition, bent on converting us all to their faith by whatever means necessary (and their tortures make ours look like 3rd grade recess).

Perhaps what comes around truly does go around. Let's hope not.
