Default Necessary Knowledge.

All men, by nature, desire to know.

What do we need to know in order that we may live well ?

Respectfully,

Grimly Fiendish.

If we want to figure out what it is necessary to know in order to live well, we first need to define what we mean by 'living well.'

The answer to which is the first piece of necessary knowledge.

What do you mean by living well ?

Absolutely.

As for your question, namely:

To 'live well' can be variously defined. Are you looking for subjective views on the matter, or would you prefer a more generalised answer?

Grimly Fiendish : All men, by nature, desire to know.

Can we examine how YOU came about this bit of necessary knowledge? This seems to be a good start!

Default "Knowing"

"All men, by nature, desire to know.

In order to live well, men need to "know" women. In the Biblical sense, that is.

Sophie "would that be ALL women by any chance?"

A worthy ambition, but not 100% necessary.

Hello Grimly.

''What do we need to know in order that we may live well?''

I understood 'living well' as human beings being able to live in harmony with each other.

Therefore, I think we need to know that everyone on earth is born equal. If everybody truly knew this then maybe we could all learn how to better understand and care about each other - regard each other as fellow human beings and not create labels or harbour prejudices.

Default honourably done

BDS : A worthy ambition, but not 100% necessary.

A worthy ambition perhaps viable if honourably done. How many light years would that take? can you imagine...
