I like your idea about the fundy amusement park! But I still say they have to round up several hundred (at least) pairs of animals (and I'd say like agnawstick that it'd be ok to use modern methods to get the animals to the boat), and try to keep them alive in a boat for an extended period of time. (I'm especially interested in likely outcome of the species that only interelate with the opposite sex briefly at mating time. Separate pens?) Then the amusement park could have the "ark". I suppose they'd have a hard time getting the smell out of it though. Oh wait, there's lye and stuff to manage that!
(Actually Jayjay has a point about this project being unfair to the poor animals that would be involved. Maybe we'd have to let the "Floodies" off by just showing us they can build a boat that would be large enough to house all the animals and would float. Perhaps they could just use an equal weight of fundy volunteers to replace the animals. Sell it like a primitive "cruise" of sorts.) |
