Many people have rejected God and will reject God even after seeing him face to face. Seeing Him hasn't made a difference for many.
If you are not interested in Jesus or heaven, then so be it. |

So are you saying that even if I did see god I would reject his existence? How can you know that? Do you really understand why I have no belief in youg god? I'm serious what I ask that. It would not be so hard for god to demonstrate himself to me. I think this is especially true if he is omnipowerful and can do anything. It seems like god would want to demonstrate himself to me, if he truely loved me. Why is that not the case? Why, after searching for some time did god not reveal himself. Or will you tell me, as many have before, that I did not sincerely search, something you cannot know since I highly doubt you are omniscient. Why don't you want to addresss these issues directly? I am asking questions that I am interested in reading your answers to, but you have resorted to telling me the above. Why are you here then if not to have a little debate with us heathens? What do you hope to accomplish by coming to this board? If you are here to save us, you have quite a job ahead of you. Good luck. |

St Robert, quoting St Paul: "...He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." - 2Peter 3:3-9."
This reveals how limited was St Paul's knowledge of the world's extent: he thinks that everyone alive at the time of his writing will be given the chance to repent. Then comes the end - whoosh! A question, St Robert: was he right? Has anyone perished since then who was not given the chance to repent? Yes or No, please. |

Obviously, if I were after all unambiguously to meet god face to face, I would have no basis for rejecting his/her/its existence. Atheists are not people who know that god exists but perversely "reject" him/her/it. We just think that god has much the same level of existence as Santa Claus or the Easter bunny. |
