I voted for the catholic's church stand on birth control. How many people have to die of aids, how many children have to be born before whose parents cant take care of them before the catholic church finally changes its fucking mind.

Christian Reconstructionist political goals frighten me the most...even the most conservative "normal" Christian doesn't want to return the U.S. to the Old Testament law and kill atheists/witches. I'd rather still be alive without any rights than tortured to death by those C.R. fanatics.

Though the reality is that creationism and fath based inititives at the moment are not as threatening and dangerous as anti-contraceptive policies, intellectually creationism is really the most deprived of the three. At least giving money to church charities is based on good intentions and banning contraceptives has the "abstinence only" option to justify itself (I'm not saying that either of these are good reasons, just that they at least in theory exist), teaching creationism is school has no motivation except religious indoctrination for it's own sake. The complete lack of redeeming qualities makes it the most disgusting agenda to me.

Creationism, creationism, creationism. Easily. As Isaac Asimov says, "They can teach creationism in the schools when I can preach evolution in the churches."
The others are annoying and problematic but aren't as directly offensive to me. Rob aka Mediancat |

In case you haven't noticed, Gemma's m.o. is to make a sarcastic remark like "Oh please" or "I pity you" and then post a picture of a dead saint or two. Then she'll tell you to read Summa Theologica for the fiftieth time.
