Where do you think all the water went? (hint: its still on Earth)

(hint: There is not enough water on the entire planet to flood all the continents, suggesting the flood was bogus.)

Except of course that the water that is currently on the Earth lacks enough volume to cover the earth. That's why land exists.

But... but... all the ice melted....

Oh, wait, that's right, that's still nowhere near enough water.

Common Flood-Geology responses:

* The Earth had had a smaller range of elevations before the Flood, making it easier for water arriving at its surface to flood it.

* Much of the water seeped back into the Earth's interior, those "fountains of the deep".

Magus55 is probably referring to the catastrophic plate tectonics model that was fudged by Dr. John Baumgardner. Baumgardner purchases enough water to cover the earth in his model with the price of boiling off all the oceans and raising the atmospheric temperature by several hundred degrees F. He also assumes natural constants of mantle viscosity that are off by something like a factor of 10,000, which would require impossibly more heat to generate. This model is not only physically impossible, but it is contradicted by all the empirical evidence available.

Um, your kidding right? 75% of the world is covered by water, and some parts of the oceans are deeper than Everest is high. This is quite a sufficient amount of water to cover all dry land, and then some.

If you stick to the assumption that the ocean floor has always been as deep as it currently is. The Bible says God created boundaries to hold the flood waters. What do I see? Lakes, seas, oceans - all holding water.

Maybe not possible by natural means, but if a global flood happened, God caused it - in which case its very possible for such an event to occur.
