I'v notices that Some of Western Atheists and seculars Just Because of their Hatred to christianity/Conservatism Tend to become fond to Islam Because Of it Beeing an enemy to christianity...and I see this in Many Things....Famous writers, journalists, politics (specially europe)...and this is actually becoming a phenomena in some places...

even in this forum....I looked at this thread for example:

minus the christian-missionary crap in the article sited in that thread...I see nothing false that it said..

I really Can't Stand this..it pisses me off, So just Because You want to fight a religoun you Become fond to a religion that is More Dangerous, retarded and Fascist ??

you americans have No idea What kind of PARADISE you are living in with the great number of christiaits /christianity influence in your country compared to what we middle eastern Secularists see..

because of islam we are not allowed to choose our faith/leave our faith , because of islam we are not allowed to critisize islam while muslims fully allow themselves to critisize other's....because of islam we are not allowed to present counter opinions.....because of islam in some places we are not allowed to even choose our lifestyles....because of islam women are not allowed of their most humble human rights, because of islam we are not allowed to practice seperation of state and religion that you almost fully practice in "christian" socities....because this principle is against the core of the islamic system that insists that its a religion AND a state.

I really Hope that this would get through the thick skulls of people who think like this.

You're right about Islam, but that is because you live in a country controlled by Islamists and do not have separation of mosque and state.

Christians look so much better to you because 1) Western Christians do not actually take their religion very seriously, and 2) we have separation of church and state. When Christians ruled countries and took their religion seriously, we had the dark ages, the Inquisition, and other abominations.

When we think of Muslims, we think of recent immigrants to our country who are in no position to take over the country. We assume that they will assimilate into American society the same way Irish Catholics assimilated in the 19th century.

There are also many very politically active Christian Fundamentalists who would love to establish a Christian Taliban Theocracy in the US that would make it as bad as many Muslim countries.

They don't need to go as far as establishing a theocracy. ANY attempt at enforcing their morality through the law is unacceptable.

It's those tolerant Xtians who are: 1) against the repeal of sodomy laws, 2) for the repeal of ordinances that protect the civil rights of homosexuals, 3) for the severe restriction of a woman's right to choose to have an abortion, 4) for compulsory prayer and enforced patriotism, 5) for "faith based" initiatives which funnel my tax money to their churches, 6) for censorship of the media and anything else which offends their delicate sensibilities, 7) against the teaching of evolution in the schools, 8) for the teaching of their religious myths in the schools, etc.
