oh yeah, i do see that.... spot on. i recommend Zen and the Art of motorcycle maintenance for a take on many things, including values, knowledge and legacy. Our distance from technology those those who are artistically inclined. The lack of care in the machine, organisation of the machine, stepping into the mythos like phaedrus and becoming insane. I would love to discuss some of those ideas. It is an immensely rich book and it feels warm, unlike some of the hardcore philosophy texts. Call it philosoft, i suppose. i was shocked at the end of the book, very tragic, yet hope at the last. |
