Hail! King of the YEC's!
Ok , things should not get much worse or I'll lose all hope for human kind.
I got into a debate with a YEC and the topic came to dinosaurs. I asked some questions and his response was brilliant. He said:"Dinosaurs are simply bigger versions of the reptiles we have today. Before the flood the earth had a water shield that blocked most UV radiation , which enabled reptiles to grow really big. After the flood the shield was gone and they became smaller" Now if you will excuse me , I got some crying to do... |

Pathetic.
If Dinos had been reptiles, we would call them reptiles. The fossil hunters of the 1800s had too few examples to make good comparative studies. That is not the problem any more. The Uv light issue turns up now and agian as a reflection of people's ignorant recollection of something they might have heard on the radio about ozone. |

Right, so if you got a modern-day reptile and kept it in a box to block off this radiation, you could Grow Your Own Dinosaurs™! |

I think that "Dr" Carl Baugh plans to grow dinosaurs at his "museum" in Glen Rose, Texas. Really. No UV, lots of oxygen... he's already got the footprints.:banghead:

Nevermind that a water shield that thick would block ALL light coming in, making all life on earth utterly impossible...
