Coercion: Court evidence
One of the major points of argument in any future Pledge ruling will look to whether students who would refuse to say the Pledge might feel coerced. I would like to see a collection of evidence on this subject collected in one spot.
Examples would be a car dealership who says he will charge Atheists an extra $10,000 for a car, a president who states that he will not appoint a theistic judge, a political cartoonist who states that atheists are morally equivalent to separatists (rebels, Confederates), tyrants, and perpetrators of injustice, and testimony of violence as well as non-physical (verbal) harrassment and coercion. Is there a place for this? [Note: Such a site should avoid hearsay and undocumented reports; only reports that are accompanied by a reputable source, where the source has been checked for authenticity, should be permitted.) |
