Cool

Oh, good. I'm just in time for the comedy relief.
When my father died, a mormon friend called my mother and urged her to convert to the LDS church and posthumously convert my dad. Then, he explained , her marriage could be sealed over in the Temple and they would be together for eternity.
My mom politely said, "I think 57 years was long enough."

LOL Oresta! Mormons are like that. When I worked for the Mormon family, one of my co-workers was a Catholic woman from Germany in her 60's, she is still a close friend of mine cus she is so funny.

Anyway, the family let a missionary couple use a room at the store for an office and asked the husband to speak to and try to convert Hannelore, he said "Hanna, don't you want to be with your husband for all eternity?" She said "Hell no I kicked his ass out years ago I don't want him back!"

I'd hate to see this very promising thing go to hell in a handbasket (pun intended) over something as trivial as a minor religious difference(bold added)
Well, from what I've read here and from personal experiences with both Mormons and Baptists, I think THIS case is neither trivial nor minor! I say, good luck to them figuring this out, and keep us updated.

I agree and Unitarians is a good choice to not likely be condemned to hell.
