Well done! Forged knives rule. Is yours like the one in the picture, with the scalloped edge? The home gourmets used to rave about Henckel but the best restaurant chefs always wanted Wusthof.

Wusthofs are excellent knives. I purchased an entire home set (unused) on Ebay for $100. My significant other is a chef with many Wusthofs, but they're too big and scary for me.
Most professional chefs either use Wusthofs, Japanese knives, or whatever cheapos are floating around the kitchen. The pros don't use those other big names, with some exceptions. |
