Post Why I love america

Hi,
I’m European French, and i love america.
I love America not only for personal reasons, I love America because It seems this country is the thesis, the antithesis, and the synthesis. In no other country you have this. We don’t have lobbies culture here in france.

As for religion, I’ve always said that the end of belief in the abrahamic religions and god would come from America. What I see today doesn’t contradict what I thought.
I see today that there is a huge debate in your country as about the possible unconstitutional pledge. That’s great no matter what will be the result of the appeal. I hope one day your president will stop saying “god bless America” too because this is very frightening and archaic.

I know also that there is an atheist march on Washington. Well I’m delighted. This is truly fantastic. This will give the entire world (not only America) a symbol for “official” godless manifestation. Lots of people in lots of country will realize that being godless is a right and that they are not alone.
In which country other than amarica could it be possible to see a march of godless people that huge ?
Truly, I love America. I will perhaps come to the march. This concerns the entire civilized world.

Make no mistake about it. Religions will fall. There is simply no doubt about it. It only seems today that it is going to happen much faster than predictable. As always in modern days America will lead the march. How cool.

The problem is there isn't much debate.

Overwhelmingly American's what the pledge back "under god" and all.

I'm really disgusted to live in America right now.
