Seems to me that there was another film made before that one...hmmm, there was a recent film of the same name, but different premise entirely. Escapes me at the "mement".
I'm confused. Ok, Nolan has done three moves. Following was his indie film done for US$6000 in 1998.
Memento was done in 2000 with a budget of $5 Million.
Insomnia (I haven't seen it yet) was done in '02 with a budget of $46 Mil.

Both Memento and Insomnia re-use titles of prior movies but are totally unrelated to those earlier films.

I love www.imdb.com

What do you think of Netflix, as a service?
Thrilled. Here is a recent thread on that topic.

Funny thing about Requiem: virtually the entire cast of Pi have roles in it, mostly walk-ons. Surreal. The Pi and Requiem DVDs also have excellent commentary tracks, two apiece. I like the tracks where filmmakers talk about the filmmaking process, much better than the "Oh, that was a fun scene" BS. Comedy commentaries - This Is Spinal Tap, Buckaroo Banzai - are fine too, BTW.
