Religion at Washington National Airport
A side note to the march.
Sunday morning as I waited for my flight home they kept announcing over the airport PA "There will be a short Christian worship service in the airport chapel at (where ever) starting at 11am." I heard it about 3 times. Has anyone ever run into such an announcement at an airport? I have not. I kept wondering if they would make other types of non-airport related announcements. It struck me as improper. |

I used to work at Detroit/Wayne County Metro--they had a Christian Science reading room there, but as far as I know there were never any announcements about it. There was no chapel or anything remotely religious other than that. [ November 04, 2002: Message edited by: Seeker630 ]</p> |
