<Rick, choking back tears of joy, catches bouquet...>
BTW, for those that argue that gay relationships are inherently unstable and promote promiscuity, take notice that the happy couple has been together for 22 years. |

. . . _____________ Congratulations to the couple, to Canada, to the Prot minister who married them, to The Netherlands (also legalizing), also to Germany (legalization on the cards), and Scandanavia. |

Now that I think about it, yguy is right. This event has lead me to become genderly confusedinated.
I mean, who wore the garter belt that was supposed to be thrown by the husband? Which husband threw the garter belt? And that's not even getting started on the boquet and who was 'given away' or anything. Who went through the time tested mantra and aquired something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue? I mean, shit! What about tradition! Doesn't that mean anything! THINK OF THE CHILDREN! MY GOD WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN? |

You forgot to mention who carried whom across the threshold. I mean what, did they have to toss a coin or something? Rock, paper, scissors?
Oh, and congratulations Rick on catching the bouquet (you sly dog). |

A bit off topic but...
I was at a wedding once where the bouquet literally hit me in the head. And since it had one of those plastic handles, it kind of hurt! We all thought this was impending sign of doom - that I would get married very soon. But - this was a few years ago, and I am still unmarried, and unengaged, and otherwise un-attached! scigirl |
