Yeh: it's the most *meaningless*/inoffensive-to-everybody gesture he can make to commemorate his however-many-years-it-is he's been in office; and to show-off his POWER as the CEO of that fiction, "the Church"; and of course it will be good for the knick-knack industry all of which can print, advertise & sell new Rosary instruction booklets; and new images/pictures of that faggy guy >>>> Their Lord, I mean. Have you been to a catholic funeral recently? I think I'll start a collection of those prayercard pictures. They're something-else. If I knew how to insert holy pictures here on line, I'd start a thread of them for you-all's edification...

If the Pope wants to make a major announcement, he should come out with something like:
"OK, we were just kidding about that whole Jewish-carpenter-being-a-god thing. It was a fraternity prank by a couple of guys back in Nazareth that just kind of took off. Sorry for wasting everyone's time with it, but they really didn't think that anyone would take them so seriously. I mean have you actually read the story they were telling? It doesn't make a lick of sense." That's an announcement I'd listen to. This whole "new mysteries" thing is just another load of crap to pile onto all the other "mysteries", the only mysterious thing about which is why anyone buys into it. |

The use of the word mysteries as a holy concept is a great way to keep people in the dark. |

"Upon retiring [can a Pope retire?] from office I will release all Vatican records (medical and otherwise) that prove beyond a reasonable doubt, all church approved miracles. Intersting bit about "praying the Rosary" and Mysteries here. I would suggest one more Mystery: "The Holy Contemplation of Father Pee-Pee Toucher." Visualisation: Imagine the joy of having Jesus forgive all those pedophile priests, thus allowing them to still enter heaven. Intention: That you ponder the irony behind sending any moral and just "non-Christian" to hell while you send Father Pee-Pee Toucher to heaven. Connection: In a culture of death and despair, how badly we need to see an institution live up to the dogmatic moral standards that it professes.
