So little clown boy thinks he proving something because he quotes Benny Hinn saying that he's heard a voice audibly. Now what does this prove? It may prove that one person fits your sterio type. So what? Man are you about 15? I'm not even going to argue with you until you have at least two years of college, which you never will.

You know Meta, you are such an attractive person in so many ways. Your posts are always full of wisdom and grace. I can't imagine why anyone would not want to become a theist after encountering such a "salt and light" kind of guy.

IMO your average theist is normal, it is we atheists who are abnormal.
Humans are not as sophisticated as we like to think we are. We're a superstitious lot (on average). Did any of you read that Newsweek article back last year titled "WIRED FOR GOD"? It was about the relatively new scientific field called Neurotheology. Belief in god(s) is a perfectly natural phenomenon during this stage of our evolutionary process, and the good news is that we're beginning to grow out of it.
We atheists prove it. The difference between us and "normal" people is that we are able to resist/break free from immensely powerful systems of religious indoctrination.
Our numbers are growing...

If I were a 15 year old clown boy from Finland, I probably wouldn't be surrounded by all this insanity..

Moreover, I say religioius belief has presumption. the idea that the universe just poped up out of nothing sounds pretty insane to me. I think you are the crazy. You need to be locked up cause your views are not up to the standard I set for sanity, which is that they must agree with me.

Metacrock, have you read Matthew 10:16? Do you feel you are obeying this particular command here?

Matthew 6:6-7 might also be useful:
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
