Casting Kent Hovind
I think I know the perfect person to play Kent Hovind in a movie.
Richard Gere. Those who have seen Chicago will understand. He might just make a better Hovind than the original. Razzle-dazzle! |

What?
If you don't mind, could you explain this for those of us who think musicals are to film what lollipops are to cuisine? I confess to not knowing anything about Hovinds disgusting sexual practices... is that how he is similar to Gere? |

Kenneth Branagh (in his Gilderoy Lockhart mode) might do a reasonably convincing job.

Gere in the movie played a lawyer who is even more sleazy than the average stereotypical lawyer. In song he told us that the way to win a court case is "razzle dazzle." Of course his character was into lying and self-promotion. |

performance that made me think immediately of Hovind. Maybe Gere's character was a bit more "smooth" than Branagh's character? (This is not a slight against Branagh's excellent job in The Chamber of Secrets. Okay folks. How many of you are in the habit of watching the credits of movies and thus got to see the last scene of the second Harry Potter movie. |

Well, I'm not in the habit of doing so as a rule, but I was warned not to leave early. Pretty hilarious. Wonder if they'll do something like that next time.
