She is a serious Christian who prays for direction about everything, and at age 60 she is getting an imperceptible bump removed that has "bothered" her for a long time. I don't know....this just makes me want to go tee-hee,since she must have asked herself "What would Jesus do?" I guess he would have plastic surgery....Oh---and what about Christian women who get their boobs enlarged. How funny is that? Let me see, how would they justify that? Oh, yeah---God wants me to have better self-esteem with a body that reflects the "fullness" of Jesus....

LOL. If she's so religious, then why would she want to intentionally change the body that God gave her? Does she think that she knows more about what she should look like than God? Is she saying that she is a better designer than God himself?

Jesus loves me, this I know
'cause the Bible tells me so. But if my boobs were a double D He would love me more, you see. |

I just spent the last 5 days in a nice upscale resort/tourist area for a company meeting and was suddenly thrown back at how much people mutilate themselves these days all in the name of beauty and vanity. When I look at these 40-60 somethings trying their damnedest to look 20-30 something I have to laugh at how silly they look when they take it to the extreme.
Religious people are some of the worst "appearance fakers" I have ever met. Clubbing little rich kids are the second worst, IMO. Between the orange skin, fake everythings and attitudes I see people who have lost their ability to keep both feet on the ground. |

C'mon, cut them some slack.
It's not easy being the bride of Christ. |
