Why don't you get a thesaurus and look up a synonym for the word "nasty"? Try "disgusting", "sickening", or "moronic", all of which are excellent descriptions of your e-mail.

No. He doesn't exist. And why don't you tell God to get to work? This world is pretty fucked up you know. If I were omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent, and all the other omni-things, I could certainly fix these things. I'm not, unfortunately.

I wouldn't put much stock in anything you're sure of.

I usually find the opposite to be true. Trying to support a lie can be tricky.

I was always sleepy before, during, and after the sermons. Now I can actually get some rest and not have to worry about staying awake during sermons.

This is probably because of how I was raised, but I find it difficult to talk about "nasty stuff."

I do not know where you are, but obviously not where I am. There are huge churches here, and some of the dance clubs are barely getting by.

You personally know that it is Satan? Are you Satan's assistant and knows what it does? Dave Mathews up in EoG thinks that humans are evil and does not need any assistance from Satan.


This god must be extremely bored if it is watching me, since my life is probably one of the most boring on this planet.

Someone should look into labor rights violations for the poor guy. Shouldn't old scratch at least get a day off now and then, dental and medical benefits, PTO, and what about overtime pay for all those Infinite shifts he's got to pull?

Of course, if such outrageous fairy tales as Christianity were true, perhaps we should really feel sorry for poor god.

The devil gets all the rebels, artists, free-thinkers, can-can dancers, and most if not all of the musicians (outside of Country and Gospel).

God gets a bunch of fat, white Southern Baptists, content to sing Hallelujahs and pat each other on the back for all eternity.

Scary. I think I could handle a little dry heat and brimstone over that any day...

Because sometimes revealing the truth can bring painful consequences. Like when you tell your religious parents you're an atheist, and they abuse and disown you. Or when you stand up for the Constitution, and Christians send you death threats.

Because the whole point of religion is to put the intellect to sleep. We're just doing as we're told.

Well, I've always found it hard to talk about imaginary things. Call me non-creative. But nasty stuff is real. I can see it, touch it (oooohhh...)

Because Christian magazines don't have nasty stuff in them. And people like nasty stuff. Duh.

Why do you keep saying "nasty" ? This is getting repetitive.

Actually, I find it quite hard, or at least time-consuming, to forward nasty e-mails. Those JPEGs are so huge....
