Wells and Unification Church
I attended a presentation on intelligent design tonight. One question that came up was the connection of Jonathan Wells, author of Icons of Evolution, with the Unification Church. Wells' stated mission in 1976 was to destroy Darwinism and was the reason he pursued advanced degrees.
In answering the question it was said that Wells was no longer affiliated with the Unification Church. Anyone know if this is true or were they bluffing to save face? |

Wells and Unification Church
Check out the Moonie "True Parents" site and search "Wells." You will find his essays, including the one in which he tells why he got a second Ph.D. You guessed it: to destroy Darwinism. Unless they've taken this stuff down since I visited there last. Whether he is now officially affiliated with the Unification Church or not, it's obvious he is still on task to destroy Darwinism.
