Is there any inconsistensies in Islam that are equal to Xtainity?!
We've made the most of tearing apart the base tenants of xtianity to a point that many unbelievers are almost as boring as the preachers - Islam on the other hand is twice as threatening to atheist freedom and to physical welfare - so lends the arguement - what lies in Islam that is different than xtianity? And how is it disproved in the same manner?

The problem here is that an answer to this question would involve us actually knowing something besides our own culture...which we obviously don't!

Aerik Von,
I think Islam also suggests an omnimax God. As such, many of the arguments against Christianity can be recycled. |

Thanks guys, I have been much reasearch on the Koran myself lately, just to make sure I know what I am talking about but I find it confusing in part because of A)the awful style of smarmy self-aggrandizment within the style and B)people seem to talk a lot about weird things such as Moses beating rocks with sticks.
It's nice to learn of others mythos though ;-) |

Talk to DMB about this, if you want- her husband is a well-known expert on Islam, and the problems of the Islamic world-view.
We have had a few polite and sensible Muslims come here and discuss their religious views, but sadly most of the ones we've seen are clones of jo-jo sa, who was finally banned for being a jerk... |
