Post Challenges for Xians part 2: WWJD and YHWH as a role model

Flood, Sodom and Gamorrah, the plagues, ordering the slaughter of indigenous peoples on the way to the Promised Land, executing homosexuals, endorsing slavery and rape, not to mention the Apocalypse...So much for a benevolent god. What father would even put the silly tree in the reach of his children?

So, if we assume Jesus and Yahweh are the same person, then the WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?) movement endorses genocide, biological warfare, slavery, rape, and the end of the world.

I've said for years now that if someone tried to live a Godly life, they'd end up in prison in no time flat. And probably Hell, but it looks like God favors the violent ("blessed is he who dashes your little ones upon the rocks" and so forth...).

Veil of Fire (or anyone) - that passage about the babies, do you know where it is in the bible. I have read it in there before, but I can't find it now. Need it for a debate. Thanks.
