Questions along these lines:
I assume it is not possible to mate (in the lab) a chimp with a human and come up with some sort of "chuman" or "himp" type creature. But (ethics aside), with advances in genetic engineering, might it be theoretically possible someday? What are the main stumbling blocks to doing so? If it were done and offspring were produced, would the anti-evolutionists who proclaim "I ain't related to no dang ape" finally have to concede the error of their ways? Or is that wishful thinking? |
