Default Which is more likely?

Is it more likely that some form of Roman polytheism is true, or that some form of Christianity is? The only requirement is that you have to accept the literal existence of the Roman gods or monotheism and the literal existence of Yahweh.

Both are equally unsupported by evidence, and therefore one might as well say they are "equally unlikely".

Hmm. I'm not sure, but didn't the Roman pantheon have physical presences in the world? I think we can falsify that reasonably well.

It's not as easy to falsify as a global flood. I'll go with the pantheon as being the least improbable.

Well, we still can't falsify jesus reasonably well, how are we to do it with gods who could change form, rarely visited the mortal plane, and had supernatural powers, choosing only to reveal themselves at THEIR choosing. They are choosing not to be seen and tested, the same as your god...
