I always wondered what happened to Aswathema! That fellow who was translating the Mahabharata died before he got to the end, haven't found another complete english one yet..

I don't know what happened to him either ... maybe Ashathama did died, or maybe he become Buddhist or something and achieved Morskha ... MAYBE.

In Krishna Purana, there are stories on how people/sage/Gods and even demons who cursed/damned/made into trees/bounded to a certain physical or mental conditions etc were given Moskha (or simple release from Life) by Krishna. Maybe this guy found Moskha in later days after Mahabratha wars. Who knows.

Thanks about the Info. on Bibhisana. So what happened to him?

How complete do you really want it? A reasonably abridged version makes quite the doorstop! I read this version:
Krishna Dharma, 1955-
TITLE Mahabharata : the greatest spiritual epic of all time /
PUBLISHER Los Angeles, Calif. : Torchlight Pub., c1999.
941 p.

If you can't get it through Amazon.com, Torchlight Publishing is an ISKCON business. Call the local Hare Krishnas, they'll be thrilled to help.

Thanks never!

I never thought of asking the Hare Krishnas. Good thinking!
I know how long it is, I bought the first 2/3ds that this professor made a very good translation of, but he died before he finished the final installment, the battle. I am a veteran long book reader, I can handle it. Thanks again

if the world ends, it won't be because some karmic bullshit says it's to end. and it won't because some God or gods says, "ok, time to wrap it up."

it'll end because of human stupidity, and will have absolutely no connection to divine beings. the only way religion will factor in is if our moron american president initiates world war III because he figures God wants him to do it.....

Happyboy, the fanatics would simply decide that God is working through Bush. I sometimes wonder if there is a God --- so much stupidity and determination to make war on the rest of the world simply does not seem natural.
