Post Latest 'Shroud of Turin'

The most intersting part of the announcement of what looks to be the latest 'Shroud of Turin' farce ('James Brother of Jesus' ossuary) is that the main champion of the find was a Catholic priest. He may want to revisit with his bishop and/or cardinal about how the Holy Church feels about James. They most vehemently deny that James was Jesus' brother (as they have already comitted themselves to the doctrine that Mary was 'ever virgin'), and when faced with their own biblical text flat out stating that James is Jesus' brother they (as is usual with orthodoxy) post-facto claim that Jesus meant James was his 'spiritual' brother. What a joke!

This has been discussed at length here. Check the older pages for more.

Lemaire is described as an ex-priest, but I have not seen any discussion of his current religious views.
