I promise to everyone attending, we have no pyrotechnics in our show (geez, what a horrible thing...)

WAAAH! I wanted to go to look at you people, but I'm currently in the throes of flu.

I'll be there in spirit, though. So if any of you happen to catch a glimpse of an especially dorky ephemeral entity coughing like a seal, say hi to me, OK?

Well, scigirl, SingleDad and I were carded at the door! The first time I've been carded in a while! We got in, no cover charge. But when we said "we're with the band", they said that we were gonna have to pay them in that case.

We were there in time to grab a good table and listen to the sound checks, between watching a nasty movie on this big screen tv. We ordered beer, and I ordered nachos. Other Infidels trickled in-- queue found us, FamilyMan snuck in and sat down while I was in the ladies room, blame_the_gods showed up as well. Various Friends of Infidels appeared.

Conversation was limited as we all were entranced with DarkBronzePlant's band. They did some 80s tunes and had a lone dancer on the dance floor doing some air guitar....

SingleDad and I left before midnight and drove back south in his "Studmobile". It was a lot of fun and great to see everyone!

Yeah friday night was a bit too fun for me, since saturday morning I didn't feel so well. . . .

DBP's band was great - they do a variety of music (although not nearly enough punk! ). It was nice to meet queue, and see the other infidels.

Till the next gathering. . . .

This is a little late since I was not on the internet until this morning.

It was nice meeting some of the other infidels in Colorado. I will echo other peoples posts in saying that DarkBronzePlant's band was very good.

BTW, AspenMama and scigirl, your pictures in the photo gallery do not do you justice.
