Hi Mr. D. Interesting article, but I'm not sure that it says all that much new. It's been pretty well known about the Late Pleistocene drought - implicated in the change in grass composition (from softer C3 to silica-rich C4) that helped wipe out North America's camelids, rhinos, and most of the extant horse species. It WILL be interesting to see if the early colonization of South America theory pans out, though. Thanks for the link.

I guess my point with this article was that we keep finding, in different fields, independent confirmation of events that occurred more than 6,000 years ago. And yet there are still YECs who think they have a case!
