Post You guys spend a lot of time discussing what you don't believe in

Just an observation.

I think that might be a "Miscellaneous Discussion."

We get a lot of posts like this. I don't believe in John Sheridan, Miles Vorkosigan, or Frodo, but I've devoted quite a bit of my life to discussing and enjoying those fictions.

In any case, the site is for discussing religious mattesrs, among others. We have forums that discuss other topics of interest.

I have an idea. Why don't you go to ESPN and complain that they talk about sports too much.

Thumbs up

Let's talk Miles Vorkosigan!!!

I just started a new Lois McMaster Bujold novel and it's very good, but I sure wish she'd pop out another Miles book soon.

She did! Go over to her official website, there's a link to the first chapter of her latest Vorkosigan epic. A Komarran trade fleet is impounded on Zouve Twilight, I think, and Imperial Auditor Miles is sent to solve the problem.

I own every one of her books. In fact, her non-Vorkosigan stuff is just as good. The Curse of Chalion is a tour-de-force about religion, about what it is like to be a saint. Beautiful book. A love story, but I like them.

My personal favorites are Memory and The Vor Game, I also adore Barrayar and A Civil Campaign.

Maybe that is because we are engaged in a battle with powers and principalities--and most of them are unaware, ignorant and misinformed!

How does that make us any different from fervent opponents of Communism?

They don't have a cool forum like this.
