Cool HI LEONARD from ARN

I see that you are obsessed with me, too. So much so, that you have to engage in hyperbole and innuendo.

I am not Scientiae.

Your little sleuthing game is a failure.

I suggest your get your head out of your arse and quit playing the role of the little back-patter on ARN.

Come out of hiding, leonard. Stop trying to join Rick Pierson/DNAunion in spreading slurs about me.

Come here and discuss.

If you are up to it.

Glad we cleared that up.

Cool

I don't see what the big deal is (re: your ARN posts). They are monumentally tame compared with some others that post there and that are under the protection of the 'moderator.'

Of course, about 4/5 of the pro-ID posters there contribute absolutley nothing of any value at all, mostly 'joke' posts, 'hey, great job' posts, and ad hominems directed at evolutionist posts.

But, they seem to get great pleasure from that sense of 'belonging'.

Anyone care to explain what this thread's all about? If it doesn't go somewhere relevant to E/C soon, I know of a good place it could go...

Cheers, Oolon

Well, to explain this requires a bit of a backstory. Pangloss was banned from ARN, and apparently Leonard has taken exception to Scientiae (presumably on the ARN forum) and is attempting to demonstrate that Scientiae and Pangloss are one and the same person. If he could prove that Pangloss and Scientiae were the same person, he would probably start seeking to get Scientiae banned. Since Pangloss cannot post to ARN to correct Leonard, I'm presuming that he chose to do it in a place where he was fairly certain that Leonard was also reading, namely, here. I think Leonard (if he's around) has probably got the message by now.

Certainly Oolon,

The following are links to ARN in which pro-ID/Creationists tried to argue through sarcasm/numerology/ad hominems why the Evo stance on the 'ID evidence' is just wrong:

<a href="http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001938.html" target="_blank">http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001938.html</a>
<a href="http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001968.html" target="_blank">http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001968.html</a>
<a href="http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001971.html" target="_blank">http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001971.html</a>
<a href="http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001970.html" target="_blank">http://www.arn.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001970.html</a>

I particularly like the ones by Douglas at ARN
that tried to argue the existence of a creator by demonstrating the infinitessimally small probabiliy of an equation that he 'discovered.'

At some point, as Kevin has explained, Leonard at ARN suggested that I was somebody else (apparently pangloss) at II, and wanted to use that innuendo to discredit me. I guess I was pissing more people off than I thought.

In any case, this post is in reference to the desperate attempts over at the ARN board to silence me over evo-cre issues.

pangloss: I'm not sure what the deal is either.
I was sarcastic at most.

Agree with all of the above, with an addendum:

I also mention this here as 'leonard' has insulted the Infidels board on a number of occasions.

If the level of discourse here is so bad, then leonard should stop by and set us all straight.

I guess it wouldn't suprise anybody here that those guys still mention people on this board with love and affection.

The Moderator, I am sure, can't kick me out even with Leonard's accusation. My last two (two and a half) feuds were with the boards' most controversial members, anyway: in order, DNAUnion (who accused me of redefining Newton's first law, when he himself had no clue), mturner (who would just as soon find quotes about the most fringe 'science' that supports his theories), and Douglas (who, I am genuinely concerned for, given his troubled mental background).

Thumbs down

I still don't see what this has to do with anything that takes place on this board. If you want to bait people that frequent other boards, do it elsewhere.

edited to add: I'll send it to the rants forum if you want to continue there.
