Its just sad. People are randomly being picked off by some possibly insane white man.

Heard this on the Jay Seculo (sp?) show on "The New WHK 1220" in Cleveland. Note, its been "The New WHK" for a while now. So a group of Christians has come up with an idea and they got to announce it on the show. They want people all over the country to pray together at 7 am and 7 pm (local time). Apparently they do local time in order to not overwhelm god with prayers.

What theists will do in order to feel that they have some sort of control!

What's worse is that one day, hopefully soon, as this sniper is beginning to suffer from mass hubris, the police will catch this criminal and all the christians who prayed will think they had a hand in it. They'll think they helped stop Satan. Of course, come the next time the police asks for a budget increase, they'll vote it down.

And if they don't ever catch the killer, the theists will proclaim that it is God's plan, an unexplainable facet of his inscrutable wisdom, and they will boast that God kept the killer from using heavier firearms.

Jimmy, most of the witnesses have said that the shooter and driver isn't a white man, but a dark skinned or olive skinned man. Kind of like the al Qaida guys that have shot and killed the marine in Kuwait. Do you see a pattern? I do.

As to your other points, they makes sense, and hopefully this will turn out to be the work of some religious nut or nuts like an al Qaida cell. When the religious claim they had a hand in the solution, we can then point out that God/religion had a hand in the start of this insanity to begin with.

Actually, I believe only one witness claimed the shooter was of Middle Eastern appearance. And that witness is now going to be charged with making false statements to investigators.

Generally Islamic extremists aren't the types to leave tarot cards marked "I am God" at crime scenes.

(1)More than one person said it was an olive skinned man, not just the jerk that lied to the police.

(2)And they didn't crash airliners into buildings before 9/11 either. These guys (al Qaida) are getting creative in their religious insanity, so I'm not going to be to surprised if they planted evidence to throw off the police with the card. Hopefully they will get these guys and then all our speculations will be answered. Yeah, white christians are racist.

That probably wasn't the same conclusion you came to.

I seriously doubt that the shooter is a muslim. The people are claiming it for a couple of reasons.
1) They want to feel important with this overly touted War on Terrorism.
2) They don't like muslims. Remember how the anthrax attack was supposedly from muslims. I was one of the rare ones who said immediately it wasn't. And I still believe a white christian cult is behind it.
3) They are stupid.

People will see what they want to see. Do you really think that muslim is trying to off America one person at a time? The psychology of such an attack isn't sensible. Look at the attacks so far by al Qaeda and other groups lately.
1) 9/11, pentagon and wtc. Not random.
2) The French tanker, if it is determined that it was terrorism. It was a random tanker, but the attack was anything but random.
3) Bali. Attacking a place with foreigners. The target wasn't chosen randomly.

The sniper is attacking randomly. I believe that the person is trying to prove to the world, he has power and worth. At first I felt the sniper was mid 30's, though now I'm thinking upper 20's. Probably high school dropout. White. Certainly a strong conservative. That's all I can guess. This person is not a muslim. I'm willing to bet lunch on it.
