Three things:

(1) learn how to read. I only made ONE post about coin flips. Were you attacked by a coin when you were younger? Did a statistician murder your family? Otherwise I'm totally at a lost for how someone could go this nuts over a single simple, non-insulting post about coin probability.

(2) what do emotions have to do with anything? You have yet to answer this question, even though you've been asked by serveral different people now. You said you don't believe in any coincidences at all. I showed you how a coincidence could happen involving coins. Case closed. I did my part to refute your original argument. Yay me. If you now wish to flip-flop into a new argument about emotions, then state the damn argument first. My post specifically addressed your earlier post. Don't create a strawman by now claiming it doesn't refute some new argument you've just concocted. At this point I don't give a crap about your "emotion" predictions because no one knows what the hell you're talking about.

(3) if you think everything else I've written is bullshit that's fine. Frankly, I no longer care at all about your opinions. Based on your over-emotional, childish reactions to reasonable arguments by those who don't necessarily agree with you, I find I simply don't respect your objectivity, intelligence, or critical thinking skills. If everyone here thinks my ideas are bullshit then I'll have to rethink my position or at least work on my presentation skills. If it's just you (and that certainly seems to be the case) then I really don't give a rat's ass.

Strange also how microwaves and magnetic fields affects radar ...

No, that not strrange. We understand how radar, microwaves, and magnetic fields work, and know how they can interact. In all cases, EM signals (detectable, and measurable, and well understood by science) are involved, and there are known structures that act as transmitters and/or receivers.

With our brains, however, there are no known structures to act as transmitters and/or receivers of psychic signals (there are the eyes, which passively detect light, and the ears, which passively receive sound), and no (currently) detectable psychic signals transmitted or received thereby to enable the psychic abilities. Until you or someone else can exhibit such brain transmittors and/or receivers, and also develop a theory for and equipment to detect the psychic signals transmitted and/or received thereby, these paranormal abilities will remain in the realm of pseudoscience.

And my bet is on "forever" for how long that will be.

Fine. Tell that to Randi and his millions bucks as well.

Randi already knows it. That's why he's confident no one will ever claim the money.

All Bullshit. Next statement.

WHO said the case is closed? You entered your statement to counter mine, now I countered your and you cannot answer back so you said it is closed? Like hell it is.

Your coin flipping crap holds no argument in dealing with human emotions - do you know why? No one can predict what another person could say or do by looking at his face or run some sort of algorithm in a computer, human emotions simply too complex for your basic flip the coin crap and YOU know it. Which is why you cannot answer it.

Seraphim: All Bullshit. Next statement.
Do you know what the word bullshit actually means? It seems you do not. There's actually a written record of everything I've said here, you know. I made one post specifically devoted to using coin flips as an example. This can be proved, ergo it is not bullshit. If you want to claim it's bullshit, show me all of the times I devoted any significant portion of a post to coin-flipping prior to your statement "shut up and show me how you can predict probabilities of outcome when dealing with human emotions like that coin flipping crap you like to use so much." If you cannot, I think it's clear that you're just making things up as you go along. That's a very pathetic thing to do and it certainly will prevent others from taking what you write seriously.

Now, if on the other hand your bullshit happened to be in response to my statement about your being attacked by a coin, I think you need to learn how to identify a joke when you see one.

In short, you need to realize that saying "bullshit" doesn't automatically invalidated someone's claims. Furthermore, it's not something you use as a synonym for "I don't like what you're saying so I'm going to stop listening to you now---allow me to plug my ears and shout 'LALALALALA' at the top of my lungs." This is how I envision your typical usage of the word "bullshit":

Random Guy: Man, it sure is hot out today.
Seraphim: Bullshit!
Random Guy: Umm, ok...

Umm, I said the case is closed, can't you read? Let me say it again: case closed. There, wasn't that easy? You haven't actually countered anything, Seraphim. If you'll go back and actually read what others have written you might understand this. I never said anything about predicting emotions, ever. The coin flipping had nothing to do with emotions and you should know that. I've said it before, but it seems that you like to selectively ignore it. Let me bold it for you so you can't miss it: You said you don't believe in ANY coincidences. My coin example show's you're a fool for believing this. CASE CLOSED with regards to that endeavor. My coin example was in response to this:

Quote:
My reply : O_o Coincidence? Oh Ok ... but for your information, I don't believe in any coincidence happening in anything.
You wrote this Seraphim. Please show me where you used the word "emotion" here. Oh, you mean this was in regards to "any coincidences" happening in "anything"? You mean my coin example refutes this claim? Hmm, you know what follows from this? That's right: case closed! In the immortal modified words of the soup nazi: no strawmen for you!

Now, if you're so interested in predicting emotions or talking about coincidences involving emotion specifically (whatever the hell that means), state your full hypothesis so that people may address it in a coherent fashion. Otherwise, shut the hell up and stop spouting "bullshit."

I'm deliberately not aiming at anyone specifically, MK. Things were just starting to get a tad heated.

Thumbs down

Lobstrosity, I don't see why I should entertain you OR your questions with any more statements. As I said before, whatever you say is fine by me. Here's my only statement I wish to make for you

Fine by me ... which will be as well for the rest of whatever statements you will give me in the future in which ever thread in this forum.

- Qoute from my early post.

Relax Moderator, I'm finish with this guys. I have no time to entertain people who can say things but refuse to show what they meant in their statement.

It's a shame you're not telepathic.

Is that so? And how sure are you about that?

Let me tell you something before I leave ... abilities such as this comes when a person has a purpose for it ... being a martial artists is as good purpose as any.
