Post Sigh, another "soul" has been lost...

Don't you just wish they'd open up this board so we can "save" Philip?

I sent in a reply but it hasn'te been posted yet.

I have my doubts that (to borrow the really annoying phrase from the fundies), "He was a true evolutionist (TM)."

Seriously though, with comments like "But, you know what is funny, in the millions of generations of cultures I have seen and grown, I have yet to see one grow legs and crawl out of my petri dish" . . . i doubt he ever learned about evolution aside from a YEC slant.

Scigirl/Froggie: I notice that you often post at BB. What is the typical wait before a submission is put up on their CvE threads? I ask because I just checked out the site, and your response to Philip is not yet posted. Is this to be expected, or are we getting another glowing example of Xian honesty and openmindedness?

No doubt, scigirl. Phillip is a pinheaded Cretin Buybull thumper. Sounds like a double E guy to me that has seen a culture of bugs a couple of times and thinks he's a microbiologist.

Just as an aside, to get a single "population" of bugs like E. coli, to exist for "1 million" generations would take ~ 38 years at a generation time of 20 minutes. That's smokin' for cells growing in log phase in a rich media.

Sad to say, we just "witnessed" the evolution of a pinhead in that thread who thinks that since "life is so complex", it is "easier to believe" in the "literal creation of 7 days" if only we can "take away millions of years from the evolutionists".

God did it to trick us and fool the evolutionists. He even enlisted Satan and the fallen arches..er, excuse me, angels as his chief molecular biologists to throw up other false leads such as intron similarities, pseudogenes, protein homologies, etc.

Arrrrrrrggggggh! Praise Jeebus and the Buybull!

Posts are up; well said, scigirl and DF.

I notice that Barnabas has used his position as an administrator to post a "well said!" direct to the forum. I've PMd him telling him I think that's inappropriate - one rule for all, and all that.

Barnabass won't care. He seems to be a very self-absorbed person. If you disagree with him, he'll lock the thread. He's just about the worst moderator they have.

I want to see some people come forward commending us scientists for dispelling creationist lies. It'll probably never happen on that board though.

Sigh.

Latest post from Philip:
By the way, as indicated in my first post, I NEVER believed in evolution, not once-----the odds are simply mathematically impossible. My only issue was justifying old earth theory with the Bible. With all the new evidence today, there is no need for that. So, that closes the case, in my book.
Looks like it was only a point mutation from OEC to YEC.

Phillips latest post is so ludicrous; I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Did anyone catch this little spelling gem at the end of the "Using the Media" thread?
