Let's try some non-biblical prophecy:

"In the next war, none of us can count on having enough living to bury the dead." - J. Robert Oppenheimer

"There is no defense in science against the weapons which can now destroy civilization." - Albert Einstein

The Good News:

The world as we know it today will end, but the planet itself will not be destroyed according to biblical prophecy. Many of the images in end-times prophecy refer to a restoration of the earth, not a destruction of the earth.

If I am wrong about Jesus being the savior of mankind, then I'm more than a fool and you are justified in pitying my existence because I chose unwisely to devote my life to a lie.

The laws of logic don't allow us to both be right.</strong>
No, but they do allow both of you to be wrong. What if biblical prophecy is nonsense, but Koranic prophecy is accurate? Then both you and the skeptic are in the same boat.

Or if Hindu reincarnation is accurate, the skeptic might actually be better off than you are.

Very well. As I have stated, I'm willing to risk being wrong.

I have no problem opposing Allah as God.

Although I reject the notion of reincarnation,
a faithful Christian should actually fair quite well in a next life.

So if Allah is the real deal, you'd tell him where to stick it? I'm not familiar with Islamic beliefs. What's the purported consequence of not bowing to that particular brand of religion?

In 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Paul describes the lawless one or Antichrist who will pronounce himself God in the temple of God. Because no such temple exists in Jerusalem today, it must rebuilt for a third time to fulfill this prophecy.

If I were to guess, part of a future Middle East peace agreement between the Palestinians and the Jews would include allowing the Jews to rebuild the Temple on Mount Moriah, where the Dome of the Rock currently stands. The Jews presently have the blueprints to build such a Temple.</strong>

Come on Robert, when Paul say this so-called prophecy, he also said that it will fulfilled soon(which means that the anti-christ will appear in his lifetime), not 2000 years later. Furthermore, christinity had a long history of accusing people as the manfestation of the anti-christs, however, none are correct as a result of blind faith and so, there will be no difference this time.
