George Bernard Shaw had a few choice nuggets:

'No man ever believes that the Bible means what it says: He is always convinced that it says what he means.'

'Is the devil to have all the passions as well as all the good tunes?'

'Must a Christ perish in torment in every age to save those that have no imagination?'

'Do not try to live forever. You will not succeed.'

'Do not do unto others as you would they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.'

And some others:

'Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.' Napoleon Bonaparte

'If God dwells inside us like some people say....I sure hope he likes enchiladas, cuz thats what he's getting.' Jack Handey

'Religion is the fashionable substitute for belief.' Oscar Wilde

"With reason there can be a method to the madness, with faith there is only the madness."

"The three unwriiten mottos of Christianity:
FAITH IS KNOWLEDGE
HATE IS LOVE
DEATH IS LIFE"

"God is a Republican, thank goodness I'm a Democrat."

those are mine, at least I think they are.

Others that I like:

"Instead of being born again, why don't you just grow up?"

Talking

I just thought of one:

Science is the search for the truth.
Religion is the preservation of a lie.

You could change science with reason and religion with faith and it'd still work.

"God could prove His existence, but then nobody would get to go to hell."

"Remember, For God so loved the world that He sacrificed Himself to Himself to appease His own anger at His own creation."

"Don't forget to tithe. How else can God pay for these billboards?"

"For God so loved the world that whosoever would believeth in Him would believeth in anything."

Just a few from my assorted collection of enlightenment.

One more for the road...

"Thou shalt not make stupid billboards proclaiming to know the very mind of God."
