Catholics do not agree with any form of child abuse and my point was that the priests were moved to avoid this. I am sure that those priests were reprimanded and had promised to amend their evil ways and it was probably on his basis only that they were transfered.

I am not interested in defending their behavior but just wanted to point out that sexual perversion is a societal problem and that those priests themselves were already victims of puritan hypocracy.

Cardinal Law moved the priests around to protect both the criminal priests and the equally criminal Roman Catholic Church.
This certainly did not protect the poor children. On the contrary the parents and other carers in the new parishes did not know that these priests were criminal paedophiles. They did not realize the special need to protect children from them.
Moving the priests around made it easier for them to damage yet more children. If Cardinal Bernard Law was not intelligent enough to see this inevitable result of his actions he should be in an institution for the mentally handidcapped.
I would like to say, "God protect us from the hypocritical and corrupt Roman Catholic Church."
Unfortunately a glance at history and at the present condition of the Roman Catholic Church shows that there is no God willing to protect us from Roman Catholics. We have to protect ourselves and out nations.

Unlovable abuse by the Roman Catholic Church just carries on and on.
<a href="http://iidb.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=45&t=001610" target="_blank">Here's</a> the latest abuse we are discussing. Unfortunately I've no doubt there is yet more to come.

So, B. Shack, if giving one's life for another, as did Maximilian Kolbe did, isn't love, then what is love in your opinion?

Yes, Gemma Therese I acknowledge that a few Roman Catholics have done good things sometimes. There is so much in the Holy Roman Catholic Church which is totally vicious and sadistic. Its hard to remember the few good things. I will follow the Scientific Method and acknowledge that Maximilian Kolbe died althruistically.
Now I return to a discussion of bad things done by the representatives of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Here's <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/2573325.stm" target="_blank">one of many documents </a> which the British BBC has on Criminal Cardinal Bernard Law. The BBC has a reputation for the impartiality of its News Broadcasts.
The late part of the document has awful material about the abused children.

Yes there are some good Roman Catholics.
Some Roman Catholics are even good enough to see that Criminal Cardinal Bernard Law deserved to be opposed and deposed.
They have joined together to form the <a href="http://www.votf.org/" target="_blank">Voice of the Faithful.</a>
Despite their irrational faith the Voice of the Faithful have more sense and more compassion than many Roman Catholics.

You said there was nothing "lovable" about the Catholic Church. I posted pictures of some "loving" Roman Catholics, including Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life for Jews during WWII, and that is a digression??

I am merely defending my Faith.

You really dislike me, don't you?
