Was Dan Barker and the FFRF at the march? I didn't notice them in any of the pictures, and I didn't see him speak on C-Span 2. And I didn't see anything about the march on the FFRF site. Is this because of some kind of rivalry between FFRF and American Atheists?

The II Banner shows up in the foreground about 2 hours and 35 minutes into the March and appears several times before the end. I really need to thank Richard Carrier for taking the lead in acquiring the banner for us to use during the March. == Bill |

Madalyn Murray-O'Hair was "mean" to Anne Gaylor. Anne split off from American Atheists and founded FFRF, which only increased the bitterness between the two groups after a bunch of American Atheists followers sided with FFRF. I've heard through the grapevine that the rivalry now extends to Annie Laurie Gaylor (Dan Barker's wife) who is still mad at Ellen Johnson for taking Madalyn's side against Anne. It will be very, very difficult to get American Atheists and FFRF to work together due to these personal animosities between the leaders of those two particular groups. == Bill |

Sort of like what happened between Luther and the Catholics, huh? How ridiculous.
