Post GAMOW: TV coverage?

I notice that CSPAN has a block of TV labeled "Public Affairs" that runs from 1:00pm to 6:45pm on Nov. 2nd. The cable guide doesn't give any details of what that'll cover -- I wonder if the March will get any of that TV time?

Does anyone know if there will be any television, radio, or webcast coverage of the march?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if CSPAN covers the march, especially if there are a lot of people there. CSPAN showed just about all the speeches made at the recent anti-war rally.

Just checked C-SPAN's online schedule this morning. No mention of the march at all. The day seems to be taken up with all election coverage. Makes me wonder if the march would not have been better covered if it was a couple weeks later.

I'm watching CSPAN and occasionally flipping to the cable news channels and so far nothing. CSPAN had important hot-topics like animal rights and right now they're discussing the Santa Fe Trail. Boy, I'm glad they're on top of that.

I suspect, if it gets covered at all, it'll be tape delayed. Hopefully, we'll get "gooderer" coverage later in the day.

I heard form a little birdie that C-Span was supposed to cover the event. But the time I heard it was to start has come and passed and still no coverage.

Why are some programs listed as "NOT FOR SALE"?

We can only sell programs to which we own the copyright. C-SPAN occasionally airs programs that are acquired for showing on the network, but cannot be sold. We list these programs so that viewers searching for them will be able to find them even if they cannot purchase them.
I'm going to guess that it means it will be on at 4pm this afternoon, but you can't buy a tape of the show. (Not becuase of copyright, but because they don't think the market exists?)

I'll be watching.

What a blackout! I tried all the news services I could think of, nothing. I googled Washington DC cams and they were either down or old pictures. It is like this march does not exist. Does anyone know anyone with a cell phone there? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
