A Creationists joins us for disscusion...
You can see the thread at Christian Forums that sparks this thread <a href="http://www.christianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9516&perpage=10&display =&pagenumber=5" target="_blank">here</a>.
For a couple of weeks now, I have been debating religious-themed topics at this site (as Starscream). As you can imagine, Evolution is not very popular there. I was finally able to convince one of the boards creationists to come here to discuss his (hers?) problems with evolution here. Please welcome unworthyone to the forum. I only ask that everyone try to keep a civil tone. I realize it is not easy for unworthyone to step up to the challenge here away from the comfort of his fellow Christians so let's try to give him a warm welcome. unworthyone, the floor is yours... |

You gotta love all these debates going on in the internet. THe thing is you keep seeing the same arguements and same characters debating en-mass. I guess that makes us mass-debaters.

Please be courteous to unworthy. I assume it is inevitable that this debate will encourage some people to start flaming, but unworthy is a guest, not an unsolicited creationist.

Tollhouse,
Starscream was an evil "decepticon" on the cartoon show "Transformers" right? |

Welcome, unworthyone! Come on in -- we only bite if bitten first!
We get all sorts here. Some people pile in with flat-out assertions and (to us) wild and/or stupid claims, and quickly find it uncomfortable here. If they can’t stand the heat, don’t light the fire. Others, realising from the start that what they're claiming often runs counter to all of modern science, come in with honest questions and a "well it's what I've heard, why am I wrong?!" open mind, find us more than congenial. Cheers, Oolon |

Actually, we are congenial to all newcomers. Remember Arrowman's summary from the randman thread? Several of us weighed in with helpful information, we were all polite, initially. Only after time went by and the randman revealed himself for the troll he is, did he get it with both barrels.
