Amos who was Amos
Howard,
sorry I had to look Amos up in the Dictionary, and I sure got no dictionary pals. So apparantly Amos was a Hebrew prophet of the 8th century B.C. I musta boiled my head in oil and switched sex, to be around after 2800 years. By the way JaeIsGod, do you think GOD was originally 2. |

Amos of these discussion boards is a Roman Catholic who keeps giving us symbolic interpretations of the Bible. Hidden meanings in the Bible, the true meanings behind the veil. Like Volker Doorman does...
Are you a pantheist, sophie? |

emotional : if you meant "Do I like people?", my answer is yes and no.
I believe in an existential force within the universe. Other than this I am not sure what I believe anymore. Experience has taught me that believing in things on this Earth usually does not pan out, or it is not a sane approach to life. People love to put themselves above other things, this I think is due to the nature of the solipsist mind. People think they know better because that is all they can see or that is all they can know. Which leads me to believe even if the GODS themselves passed messages around, most people would corrupt the message with their own impotent ideas, including me. Thus to drink from the knowledge of this Earth, one must sip with care. |

Isn't (wasn't?) Jae last embodied in Emperor Halie Salassie? And isn't cannabis his favorite burnt offering?
One of my favorite gods, even if he *is* mythical! |

Sophie, its reaaaaaaal simple.
a lot of Christians pray, and when someone get's saved by a doctor, they contribute it to God. When Christians are in a life threatening situation (plane crash) and a few walk out, they say that it was God who saved them. He is making a point of how ridiculous this is. I recommend thinking before speaking, but hey maybe its just me. |
