Default Powers of Ten

Go from the Milky Way to electrons and protons by powers of ten.

I have no point to make with this, it's just neat.

Good site.

Seems a bit of a shame that they stopped at only 10 million light years though.

You need to get ahold of an IMAX film called "Cosmic Voyage". You're really doing a disservice to yourself if you don't see it on an IMAX or Onnimax screen first, but it is available on DVD.

It does the powers transition, and a lot more. I realt felt overwhelmed watching it for the first time.

DVD of the original "Powers of 10" movie:

The Films of Charles & Ray Eames - The Powers of 10

And the IMAX update (personally I prefer the original since the actual zoom is slower, but this one is great too):

Cosmic Voyage
