Aha....
Now we come to the deepest, most important questions of human existence. Science is all very well but it cannot answer questions such as these. |

I think if there's any sense of humor in heaven, then everyone will have to wear a mullet.

I wonder... is your mom pentecostal? Personaly I do not dwell on any particular time frame of when I would go to hell or heaven. I have such " bizarre" beliefs compared to mainstream christianity that I avoid dwelling on the matter of hell or heaven every day of my life. None were ever a factor in my conversion. In other words, going to hell or heaven is sort of irrelevent to me and I do not obsess on it. I did teach my kids though that if mom dies they will be with her again. It makes them less fearful to face the death of a beloved one. Chances are that if I presented my beliefs to your mom, she would also " stomp out " on me. And I would keep you company in hell in her mind! oh well..... |

Sounds like the habea corpus applies... as a christian, you see, I have a hard time believing that God would sentence to hell a person before judgement... maybe I am misreading you but are you giving " hell" and The Lake of fire" a different location and meaning? Imagine if that is confusing to me as a christian, how ever more confusing it is to a non christian. This is a tricky question to answer IMO which needs to be answered based on " this is what I personaly believe". To some hell is eternal separation from the God they love. To others, a specific location where the body is tormented by fire eternaly. Was your answer what you personaly believe? |

Hi Sabine. Yes my mother is a Charismatic/Pentecostal. She has a guide to the parts of the bible she should read and she always discouraged me from asking questions. She's the type as seen on TV. Sort of like Tammy Faye and Jan Crouch, -make-up. I don't think she has ever read the whole bible. As a matter of fact I'm sure she hasn't.
