Default Genetic flaws and christians

I was thinking about christians claim of creation, and it made me think of genetics. Humans can be born with a wide range of genetic flaws that can results in terrible deformities. This is easy for me to accept as I believe in evolution and it makes perfect sense, but how do christians justify this? Would they claim that this is evil creating badly deformed children? It seems to me that if a god created us, he would make it so at least every human would be a normal one. Is god inept at creating humans? What kind of explanation could a christian manifest to explain this?

Christian: Everyone who is born is given challenges in life. The deformed child has a different struggle to face then the normal child.

But why would god give one child a challenge while others he wouldn't? And what about the mentally deformed who couldn't even make an informed decision?

Christian: Being mentally deformed is simply a different challenge. Who is to say whether it is worse or better then poverty, responsibility, or any other challenge, but the one who has experienced all those?

We live in a fallen, corrupt world. Sin and evil spread destruction and disease. Genetic deformities and other faults are a result of humanities fall. Its just part of the cycle that the plague of sin causes. God created the world perfect, humans turned it into its present state.

Trinitarian theist: God doesn't create humans; two people, male and female, must have sex. Until then, no baby. The question should be: "Are people inept at making babies?"

Is God in any way involved in this (theism) or does He stand aloof (Deism)? If He is involved, then He is responsible for whatever defects the baby is born with.

Really? So humans' sin causes genetic deformities? Rendering a child uncapable of even choosing god from his very conception? How funny that one man's sin causes a genetic deformity. The only possible way would be for god to directly change the genetics before they were born because of man's sin. This would be his action because of sin, and it could not be a direct result of man's sin. So it is actually god's perverse decision.
