Yes acetominophen is another danger for liver failure, etc.

I think maybe we do need to scare him right now.

You're probably right, but more than that I hope he's already at or on his way to the ER right now.

If you're still reading, STOP! Go to the ER, now!

Shit. Does someone know enough about where SE lives to call the poison control centre for him? One does not fuck about with such things.

At this time, he just needs to get to the ER. The Poison Control Center may primarily give advice for what to do immediately or soon after such an overdose; after so long, they'd probably just tell him to see an MD ASAP anyway.

I concur (although it would depend on amount ingested vs. body weight and other factors). I just figured if he was still reading these posts, he probably needed an authoritative human voice to get him moving. I sincerely hope he didn't wait around and was outta there by the second reply.

S.E.

I'm jumping onboard with everybody else who recommends you get down to the emergency room ASAP!

Furthermore, when you get back home get your butt back into here and let us know what happened. Whatever problems you have, they can be overcome or forgotten about in due course. PM or e-mail me if you want to talk. I'm sort of hard-nosed about other people who are making *my* life difficult (fuck 'em), but there are many others here who might have more constructive solutions.

My mother suicided, now I'm a father. I can't begin to imagine the pain a parent would go through upon receiving news like this.

As others have said, get to the ER now. That's a total dose of 8g of acetaminophen which my memory is includes the low end of the lethal dose. However, it acts by liver damage--a slow way to go.

Hopefully you have gotten yourself off to the doctor. I wanted to truly wish you well and encourage that you find a local resource for support and help.
