This is a sorta naive view of heaven, but mostly, I wanted to complain: You have given me *NIGHTMARES* involving Regis Philbin and Pat Robertson, together in an unholy union.

MY EYES!

No it's much simpler than that. You just send me the money and I send you your ticket.

Boro Nut,

Are you a televangelist, cult leader or former Arthur Anderson employee?

If heaven is singing Kum-bay-ya and listening to the endless droning of the omni-ego, I'll pass.

Besides, I hear hell gets better cable reception and you know they don't allow sinemax[sic] in heaven.

The only way heaven would be worth it would be if there were no religious types there. Just atheists, thinkers, skeptics, etc.

It is utterly horrendous to contemplate being around a bunch of religious types forever. That is a singular detestable concept. I can't stand to even write this.

Hey now, my wife is a former Arthur Anderson employee. She didn't shred a thing.

Ivory buildings and gold bricked streets. Everyone wearing flowing white robes. I think I saw this in some Mormon propaganda when I was young. Sounds pretty boring. Fucking every women in heaven would get stale after a while. What happens then? Do you start fucking the dudes? Are there animals there? If so, can I fuck them too?
If I started being obnoxious would I get kicked out of heaven? Then I could go to hell and start fucking stuff there.

The way I heard Heaven described as a child(remember I didn't hear it described often) was as a timeless, changeless place where everyone was at peace. Somehow harps and angels got in there too.

Now, of course, I wouldn't want to go to a place like that even if I knew for sure that it existed. I like change. And peace (of mind) is overrated. The people I know in real life who describe themselves as having "peace of mind" are either complacent or fatalistic, both to a fault.

One of my favorite quotes, from George R. R. Martin, a fantasy writer, goes:

"They can keep their heaven. When I die, I'd rather go to Middle-Earth."

Heaven's going to be much too crowded for my liking.

Hell will probably be much the same.

There's just no hope me!
