Because 4-5 billion people believe and are convinced of His existence. Many without a shadow of a doubt.
Magus, once again I have to point out to you the very simple and observable fact that just because lots of people believe something doesn't make it true. This is the most feeble justification for religion ever invented.

What an outstanding God you have. He seems to have the power to do anything except make atheist believe he exists. Even I can do that, and I'm only an imortal.

Why should He make you believe He exists? You don't really care, so why should He bother? He's just letting you have what you want - the belief that He doesn't exist. He isn't gonna force you to believe He exists, thats up to you.

I could just imagine the logical arguments against god if an atheist met him.

1. I am meeting you in person.
2. I exist as a function of the universe.
3. I can only interact with things that are existants within the universe.
4. I am interacting with you.
5. You must exist as a function of the universe.
6. Therefore, you did not create the universe, you are an existant within the universe. I want to talk to the real god.

He's just letting you have what you want - the belief that He doesn't exist.

Actually, what I would want is, if he exists, for him to let me know.

He isn't gonna force you to believe He exists, thats up to you.

I'm supposed to force myself to believe he exists? So that's how it works.

Magus:

The problem isn't that we CAN'T comprehend God. The problem is that we CAN.

All too easily.

How could he show you without you writing it off as natural phenomena explainable by science?

Dont worry, I know what your going to say.

"He should know how, he's omnipotent".

If God exists, let him now create a thirty-foot-high talking 8-Ball wearing a green toupee in my back yard.

...

Hmm. Guess he didn't hear me.
