I'm meeting Barry Lynn
I'm flying to DC later this month for an interview with Barry Lynn. It's the final interview for my documentary about the GAMOW and separation of state and church.
The film is mostly done, and is even already in a film festival, without the Lynn part, but I really believe he is going to be a big part of "rounding out" the separation segment. I feel like I have some heavy hitters, because I already have Merrill D. Peterson whom I interviewed in the Jefferson Library at Monticello. The other "authoritative" voice in the section is Ron Garrett, who used to hang out here a lot but not so much anymore. I interviewed him at his home in NC. If you don't know him, he is a former biblical inerrantist, graduate of Fuller Seminary, veteran, and former pastor of a Cavalry Chapel congregation. Now he describes himself as a "materialist" and is just so well spoken and knowledgeable. The film is not for sale yet, it won't be until after the Barry Lynn interview. So I think it is safe to link to the trailer. It's big (38 Mb) and you need updated quicktime, and a high speed connection to view it, and even then it can take several minutes to download. Outstanding, Dangin! By all means, please let us know how the interview goes and how to go about getting a copy of your documentary when it's in final form.

I shouldn't tease the guy, he's an activist for what he believes in. He should be a lesson for all of us. |
