The Tony Danza argument for an atheistic afterlife
No, Tony Danza is not an atheist(that I know of).
I was watching the Conan O'Brian show a couple days ago and he was on, and the topic went to boxing. Tony had boxed, and gotten knocked out once. He said being knocked out is "like your just not there". In essence, your oblivion. So, if its possible to be oblivion, even when living, then its possible to be such when your dead. It seems the most simple explanation, between ascending to heaven, and being oblivion, would be the later, applying occams razor. There are some people who report seeing heaven and such when they go into coma, but, they still retain some conscious brain function, whereas Tony was the opposite, breathing for himself and basic life functions, he was even speaking and thanking the referee and such, however, Tony was unconscious. Definition of conscious Since, being dead is being unconscious, the most likely explanation, is being oblivion. |
